NHS Provider Research 2023
Qualitative and Quantitative research to gather the views of improvement leaders and others involved in quality/continuous improvement work in NHS provider organisations.
During the Spring and Summer of 2023, independent research specialists interviewed people working in leadership and QI roles for NHS providers.
They were asked about their priorities for and experience of commissioning or leading improvement training.
- The relative maturity of their organisation on the improvement journey
- How decisions are made, and any relevant influencing factors for working with an improvement partner like the FCA
- Their plan for coaching within the organisation and the internal vs external split
- The main barriers to embedding quality/continuous improvement in the organisation
- How they would rate their progress on implementing the elements outlined by NHS Impact following the continuous improvement review.
