We are delighted to have the quality of our course recognised by ILM, we believe it provides our partners and Flow Coaches with confidence that the course is a robust and valid improvement, leadership and management training programme; that is fit for purpose, well managed and lead by qualified and experienced people

What does this mean for our coaches?

The ILM Recognised status means that coaches that graduate from the central FCA’s ‘Improving with people first’ course, delivered virtually by the team in Sheffield; will be awarded a programme ‘digital credential’
This recognition validates the quality of our Improving with People First course and allows us to assure our coaches that they are getting the best quality of training.
The central team has a cohort graduating in June and two new cohorts starting this year they will be the first groups to receive the digital credentials.
The process of becoming ILM Recognised began in 2022 and involved the core members of the team in Sheffield, they provided information about the course structure, process, policies, procedures, quality systems, materials, guidance and marketing information for assessment.
The process was thorough and supported by the team at City & Guilds throughout, it led to improvements in our processes and brought additional structure and governance to our delivery process.
The next steps for the central FCA are to support our academy partners who are interested in reaching the same status.
